Cheris, I normally would say no unless you had a high mileage base to help you recover faster. However... If you really want to run it then ok, just make sure that you take Sunday off and do everything you can to recover quickly. Such as eating and hydrating immediately after the race. Consider a massage also. I think if you do these things correctly and immediately, then there is a chance it may actually improve your time. I had my best marathon a week after winning Race for the Cure. But I had run a high mileage base in the winter also. Steve
