Speed work at the track. Warm-up of 2 miles then 2 laps of speed changes. 6 800's with a 400 recovery in between. We did the first 2 at marathon pace, then half marathon pace, then we got all mixed up with our arithmetic and were trying to do 7:40, 7:30, 7:20, but ended up doing 7:20, 7:20 (I think!) then 7:00. Then we did 3 laps of fast 100's, and cooled down for one lap. I loved it--it's great to be at the track again! |
