Progressive tempo run from my house to Daybreak, with Julie and Michelle. We did 2 slow miles to warm up, then we tried to hit 8:45, 8:30 and then 8 minute miles until we got to 10. We were close, but going uphill into Daybreak slowed us down. Our miles coming back down were mostly in the 7.5 minute range, and mile 10 was 7.39 even though it was totally flat. I felt good about that! Then we did one more cool-down mile. |
