Michelle and I ran up Butterfield Canyon (3 miles) then turned around and ran back down. At the bottom we met Eric, Allan, Cheryl, Debbie and her son and ran up and back another 3. So we totalled 6 miles of pretty hard uphill, and 6 miles of downhill. I honestly didn't think I could run up it twice, but it actually felt better the second time (except that my hands were freezing, since I had left my soaking-wet gloves at the bottom). Michelle and Cheryl and I ran down it at about an 8:20 pace, and the first time it took us 57:55 total. The next time we were about a minute faster. It made us think that yes, we CAN do our legs of Wasatch Back up Old Snowbasin Road!

Good distance and terrain for Saturday's run. Good job Cheris.
