Met the running group, and did a warm-up of about 2.5 miles. Then those of us who wanted to work out on the track split off to do some speed work. We did Yasso 800's, which was so awesome! Michelle and I did six of them about 2.5 weeks ago, and we averaged right around 3:30, some a little faster.

Today I did seven of them, and they were:

3:32

3:26

3:21

3"20

3:22

3:28

3:22 (this one I did by myself, and I was worried that it would be slower without Julie there to keep me going, so I was very happy to end strong!)

Then I did a fast 400 (400 recovery), 2 laps of fast 200's, then 2 laps of speed changes. Then cooled down, went home, and ran a mile with Drew. I even pushed Reagan (all 36 pounds of him) in the baby jogger because he wanted to go, too. I have forgotten how hard it is to run with a baby jogger, and I am going to sell it on KSL.com today!

I am finally checking out everyones blogs and seeing who everyone is. Anyway you did great today. You have all been so great for Jody to run with and have someone she can actually stay with while she runs.

I am glad you are checking out the blogs--it gets addicting! It is way fun to have you guys come to the running group!

Good job, Cheris, this bodes well for SGM. Yasso 800's never worked for me, but with your LARGE mileage base it will probably work for you. I never ran much more than 35 miles a week (and often less) when I experimented with the 800's. You are doing awesome!

And your time at Hobble Creek also shows you are going to have a great time at St. George--I bet you'll be under 3:30.

And Paula, I too am glad you're coming to our group. Hope your foot is ok.

Thanks for waiting for me on the recoverys today. You and Julie had a bit more in you than I did. I was wiped out. I took a nap this afternoon (a long one) and woke up and felt like I'd been hit by a car. You're awesome.
