Met the running grou--all 18 of them today!--at Parkway Palisades for some FUN hills. My calves are still bugging me, and I could totally feel the muscles move around in unnatural ways on the mother of all hills, but on the less steep hills there was no problem. I am going to call Dr. Toronto today, just to make sure this doesn't turn into something chronic.

You looked good today Cheris. I would've never guessed you were hurting. Lets hope that when we all start tapering, our aches and pains all feel better. You are putting in some serious miles. Your bound to hurt somewhere.

AH!!! I love Dr Toronto! Great guy---you can ask him why I need surgery, he is the one who knows.

You did great! You even had to walk a little to help your calves and still beat me!

Good luck figuring out the calves. I hope Dr. Toronto can work his magin. At least it's almost TAPER time!

Too bad I didn't run into you and Michelle earlier this morning. Are you going early on Thursday, too? I figured I'd show up at 5:00 and make it a four 5k day. Wanna come?

From peggy on Tue, Sep 02, 2008 at 14:07:39

Woops! Bad typing. "magin" should be "magic"

You did great! Smart girl to call the doctor - no injuries!

Good job today Cheris. You were speedy on that 2 mile loop. I couldn't keep up. I hope your legs feel better.

Peggy- I will come at 5:00 on Thursday. That way I won't feel as guilty leaving early.

From peggy on Tue, Sep 02, 2008 at 23:52:30

Sounds good, Julie. I'll see you EARLY Thursday morning.
